Here is a sample of Portraits and paintings I have done for individuals. I have included a couple of copies of Old Masters that I did to learn their technique. I now do portraits in the Old Masters Style. I am always open to discuss your vision that you would like to see hung in your home. This commission was painted from a cell phone photo.

This commission was from a black and white photo taken in 1924 by a professional photographer in Berlin. She was a silent movie actress in the 1920's. There were no color photos of her as a young woman so I used her daughters skin tone and she picked the color of her eyes and hair.

This was a drawing for a portrait of my wife's aunt in Germany. It was from a black and white photo and she felt it captured her aunt just like it was.

This is a copy of Courbet's self portrait. I really like the lighting from the top and the mysterious shadows that he got. It is a very close copy of the reference picture I had to work with. \r\n\r\nOriginal Available- Have not decided if Giclees will be offered.

This is a self portrait from a black and white photo taken by a photography several years ago when I had darker hair and a mustache. :)

This was painted from a photo of our step granddaughter, Ariya. Her father took her picture in the living room with some pumpkins. I put her in the pumpkin patch.

This painting is a combination of a circus performer and Lilly.

This is a portrait of my wife from a picture that was taken of her on her first day of school in Germany. See the book pack straps.
